Summary: The hotel itself is nice with the normal amenities one would expect from an Intercontinental Hotel. Unfortunately my experience included a room that had a leak in the ceiling. We are not talking about a drip, drip leak--we are talking full blown waterfall. I had to deal with that 3 times with multiple towels and ZERO response from the hotel. At check out, they offered to compensate a meal, but that never happened and really wasn't the issue. they should have just come and fixed the problem when it was reported. In addition to that, while the cost of Costa Rica is generally high, the excessive costs of food and drink at this hotel were way higher than expected--but the quality was very good.
