The space is made of recycled shipping containers, and one of the units is an old bus. No trees were cut during construction or the building process. For decoration, bamboo was used - which is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. The walls are made of stone and 100% natural materials. All toiletry products are organic (soap, shampoo, etc). We look forward to welcoming you to our eco-friendly and sustainable space!

Upon arrival, guests will be able to self check-in with a keypad. The space is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home! Free and ample parking is available near the home. As your friendly local hosts, we are area natives, so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the beautiful town!

No parties or unauthorized guests. Pets are allowed, but please advise the host in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
Please note that you are in a natural environment where small wildlife and birds are possible. Guests should be mindful of possible changing weather conditions. When you are not in the space, please remember to be eco-friendly, pick-up any trash, lock the doors, and store your valuables safely. While this is a very safe area, the host cannot be responsible for any lost or missing items.
The space is in a lush green setting but sometimes the cars from the nearby road may be a bit loud during the daytime. It is not overbearing but sometimes causes curiosity from our guests.

It is located 550m above sea level, just 6km (5 mins) outside of the local town of Atenas, 25km away from Juan Santamaria International Airport and 40km (20 mins) outside the capital city of San José. The property is built on 2000 m2 of lush green earth, with fruit trees galore! Help yourself to fresh fruit such as oranges, grapefruit, avocado (even coconuts!) when in season! In Los Guanacastes, there are many old large leafy trees, such as the Pink Oak and Yellow Bark species. You will be able to see an amazing number of colorful birds such as orioles, toucans, guacos, carpenters and parakeets right outside your window! You may also see some small wildlife such as iguanas and squirrels. For the more adventurous, head 60 minutes away to visit various volcanoes or travel to the Herradura and Punta Leona beaches, just 40 minutes away.
