Summary: This property was stunning. This was our first time to Costa Rica, and we can’t wait to return! Our family of 7 (5 kids, ranging from 2 yrs old to 13 yrs old) loved the true Costa Rican experience. The home is situated on a beautiful mountain with views of the ocean. There was abundant wildlife (monkeys, toucans, birds, iguanas, tree frogs, geckos, etc.). The kids especially loved the pool! The concierge, Cristian, was incredibly helpful. He even met my husband spur of the moment one evening at a pharmacy to help translate for him. He checked on us to see if we needed anything each day, and he helped us book amazing tours. The owner was very kind, reached out several times, and wanted to ensure we had an amazing time. The drive up to the house is not for the faint of heart, though! It is very steep. We were aware of this before arriving, but nothing can quite prepare you for the steepness and twists and turns it takes to get up to the house. It just added to our overall adventure though! We did have to keep a very close eye on our toddler because the pool is just right off the open living area. It was not a problem, as all the doors need to remain closed at all times and she could not reach the door knobs. It is something to consider though when booking if you have members who cannot swim yet. We LOVED this place and cannot wait to return!
