Playa San Miguel is well known for keeping the greatest balanced environment between nature, beach and jungle.
Villa Pietra Mare is specially designed to sense an outdoor living experience with the comfort of a luxury beach house. Living space, dining area and fully equipped kitchen are located alfresco where you can enjoy the most wonderful views of the ocean while listening to the nonstop crashing waves.
The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. It offers outdoor showers, pool, BBQ area and artisan made hammocks hanging from the trees overlooking the beach. There´s a sunshade "toldo" specially located on the sand where you can expect glorious sunsets as you see the tide going up or down.
Just a 10-minute walk on the beach find the most stunning natural tide pools filled with fresh seawater and if you are in season encounter giant sea turtles as they lay their eggs a few steps away from the property. Olive Ridley turtles nest throughout the year, though they are most likely to be seen nesting from July to November.

Getting here is part of the adventure! As road trip has glorious views during the drive, we recommend you hire a 4x4 vehicle for there's a dirt road trail on the way. A GPS and Waze are handy too…

It's a 4-hour drive from the San Jose International Airport (SJO) or a 2.5-hour drive from the Liberia Guanacaste Airport. Nearby Beaches: Samara 45-minute drive or Santa Teresa and Mal Pais 1.5-hour drive.
