Welcome to our childhood home, where we stay when relaxing in the metro area. You'll be 5 min from the Hard Rock Casino/Concerts, 10 min from the Gary/Chicago Airport, 15 minutes from the BP Whiting Refinery, and less than 20 min from the Indiana Dunes Park. Our completely remodeled home is on a quiet street surrounded by woods, where we played as youngsters. Our 3-bedroom residence, with original hardwood floors, has active RING doorbell devices at the front and back doors, side house camera, and Minut (party) sensor for added safety.
The space
Quiet, comfortable, modern, homey, well-insulated, and relaxing space.
Guest access
The basement, with washer and dryer and half bath, and two-car garage with EV charging are also available. Large backyard.
Other things to note
We know and grew up with our neighbors; therefore, we do NOT allow events or parties. No residents within 30 miles, third party booking, or pets. Prior reviews required for booking.

The Yard
While looking out of the large picture windows or sitting on the front porch, don’t be surprised if deer, squirrels, wild turkeys, and an assortment of other birds and frogs visit you or if a neighbor walks or drives by and waves.
We also adorned our yard with plants native to the area, which you can see in the Dunes National Park and many parts of Northwest Indiana, including our wonderfully wooded west side Gary neighborhood.
