We love our rustic cabin at Promised Land State Park. This is the place to get away from it all. The TV has an antenna which gets a couple of channels, there is no phone service and cell service is spotty. This cabin will take you back in time and it was actually built from a Sears Catalogue.
We added the 300 Square Foot screened in porch which is great to get away from the bugs and protect you from the rain. There is a picnic table where your family can gather for board games so remember bring your favorites. There are ardirondack chairs to sit and read a book and enjoy the breeze.
It has 2 bedrooms and one full bath cabin. It sleeps 6 with a full size bed, bunk beds, and a trundle bed. The kitchen has an old cook top stove, griddle for pancakes and a microwave and coffee pot. We also have a gas grill to use, just please replace the gas if you use it all. We have a fire pit in the back to roast marshmallows and hot dogs. Please take all your trash because the bears roam around looking of leftovers.
It is nestled in a little neighborhood with other cabins and homes. It is a short walk to the trout stocked lower lake and the beach and main park are a 2 minute drive.
