BIKE TRAILS: Mount Ida offers scenic bike trails for outdoor enthusiasts. A couple of trails that we love are 1) Lake Ouachita Vista Trail is a 40-mile trail that winds through the Ouachita National Forest with stunning views of Lake Ouachita 2) Womble Trail is a 37-mile mountain biking trail that runs through the Ouachita National Forest.
We encourage guests to bring their personal ATVs to enjoy the beauty that this property has to offer. There is also Mountain Harbor Marina where you can launch your boat and enjoy time on Lake Ouachita. We are also only 1 mile from Camp Ozark!
βοΈIt is important to note that if you choose to bring your ATVs, we kindly request that you limit your activity to the designated trails and refrain from venturing out into open fields.
HIKING: Winding Stairs Trail and Little Missouri Trail are among the most popular trails for backpacking and fishing. The hike largely follows the Little Missouri River, crossing it several times.
ROCK HUNTING: Mount Ida, Arkansas is known as the βQuartz Crystal Capital of the World!β Some popular mines include Wegner Crystal Mines, Ron Coleman Mining, and Twin Creek Crystal Mine.
