Experience breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets in this comfortable cottage retreat. Located in a quiet private neighborhood, on a secluded rocky hillside above the west shore of Orcas Island. Relax on the west facing deck and marvel at unobstructed views of the San Juan archipelago and Vancouver Island. Relax, and set your watch to island time. This is the ideal quiet place to get away for a while.
The space
Orcas Sunset Cottage has full kitchen outfitted for all your basic cooking and dining needs, including full size electric stove and oven, large fridge, microwave, toaster, 12 cup drip coffee maker, Kuerig, french press, coffee grinder & blender. (Due to Covid safety guidelines we are not offering additional communal pantry supplies such as cooking oils, flour, sugar at this time.)
A spacious and comfortable living room with great views of the water, two comfortable leather recliners, a sofa bed, wood burning stove (firewood is provided) TV with DirecTV satellite service and fast fiber internet service included as well as an Amazon Alexa. The cottage also is outfitted with a telephone landline.
The deck features comfortable dining table and chairs to seat 6, umbrella, chaise lounge (seasonal) and stunning panoramic views.
Charcoal BBQ with supplies also provided.
The primary bedroom has views of the water, queen size bed and large dresser.
The second bedroom has two twin beds and small dresser, large closet.
Windows are outfitted with wooden blinds and are predominately west facing providing beautiful afternoon/evening light.
The bathroom has a spacious shower, with full sink/vanity and hair dryer and basic bathrooms supplies including soap, shampoo & conditioner. There is a front loading washer and dryer, laundry soap, iron and ironing board to suit your laundering needs.
The property is in a quiet neighborhood, nestled in a rocky forest hillside with sweeping western panoramic views of the water and surrounding islands.
