Positive: Norte Nosara is located right in town and amazing access to the beach. Rooms are basic and very clean. Things like water pressure and coffee maker are inconsistent or don’t work, but you are so close to everything that it’s not much of a problem. Linens should have been changed during my longer stay, but overall housekeeping is good. It’s quiet despite being in the centre of town. Restaurant is nice and people who run it are lovely.

Negative: It was not great value for money, although I stayed at high season. The facilities are well maintained but it is not designed for you to stay around hotel - not much space/chairs to lounge if you want to. There is little help during the day - the person at reception is great when you get her but only available 8-4. I asked for a list of restaurants and was told they would send it and never did.

Summary: Great location and lovely clean property, more of a motel than a hotel.
