Luxury cabin located on the highest point in Halibut Cove. Stunning, 360 degree views of Halibut Cove, Homer, Glacier Spit, Pool Peak, and the head of Kachemak Bay. Enjoy the solitude of this remote and secluded cabin, and catch a glimpse of soaring eagles and whales swimming in Kachemak Bay. Access to the cabin is by walking via a moderately-challenging hiking trail (however, we will transport you and your supplies to the cabin when you first arrive in Halibut Cove.) We offer round-trip water taxi service from Homer, to and from the island, for a separate fee on our boat the RHINO. Or, you can book travel to the island on the Kachemak Bay Ferry, M/V Danny J, or travel to the island on your own boat and we will ensure a tie-up spot at our dock.
The cabin has incredible views from every room! Comfortable, queen-sized bed in sleeping loft, full kitchen with breakfast bar, indoor bathroom with shower and flush-toilet, and large deck with chairs and table where you can watch the sunrise and sunset, and wildlife.
The Saltry Restaurant, Halibut Cove Experience Gallery, The Cove Gallery and the boardwalks are a 20 minute walk from the cabin. Bring your fishing pole and cast for Dolly Varden and salmon from the Isthmus Beach, or wander the boardwalks of quaint Halibut Cove.
Transportation via the RHINO is per/person round-trip, and automatically added to your booking unless you have your own boat or book with the M/V Danny J. Price will be adjusted accordingly.
