Summary: We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. Also ample hot water, AC and strong Wifi. Note that this location is a little far out so not walkable to any amenities. Our host Glenda, who is a native of Monteverde, was amazing. She made our stay comfortable with the little things including some complimentary breakfast items (breads, coffee and jam) and lots of suggestions on what to do and see around the area. There was no driver available, and she took it upon herself to pick us up from La Fortuna and drive us around during our stay, then dropping us all the way in San Jose. If you're looking for quiet, secluded luxury in Costa Rica with a host that really cares about her clients, this is a great experience for you and your family.
