Positive: The hotel is beautiful, we were blown away on arrival. The outside areas + fire pits and the pool are lovely as was the jacuzzi. The sunset views from the terrace were stunning and most mornings we were greeted by rainbows. It’s located directly across the road from a good supermarket, and a couple of decent restaurants. The bar staff do a great Negroni and all the staff (as with almost everywhere in Costa Rica) were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Negative: The restaurant was a bit of a let down on the first night, we waited over 10 minutes before having to ask for menus then were served by three different members of staff, possibly because we ate early with our two children. The steaks both came medium rather than as requested although the food generally was good. The jacuzzi could have been warmer on occasion.
