Summary: We booked this place last minute after our previous ABNB couldn’t be extended and we are so glad we found Fortuna Retreat. It was such a unique, new, cool spot that felt like a private luxury villa in a secluded jungle setting with an AMAZING view of Arenal volcano from your bed. We loved our room - very clean, spacious & well decorated with a huge balcony to enjoy nature and take in the surroundings. We have to give a huge shoutout to Joel at the front desk - he was very helpful with all of our questions about the local suggestions as well as helping plan the rest of our trip at the beach. He also helped us book an amazing “all in one” tour on our last day in La Fortuna that covered everything we wanted to do in 8 hours. Last but not least, make sure to walk down the road to Soda Tita Rosa, you won’t regret it. Easily the best meal we had in La Fortuna, at a great price, in a quiet setting off the beaten path with excellent service. We would have eaten here every meal had we found it earlier!
