If you are lucky, you'll see Howler monkeys from there or as you return from taking in the sunset on the secluded beach - and several of Guanacaste’s finest restaurants and up-scale bars are only blocks away.

Casa Kalumina has some safety features to keep the house locked up tightly, including a roll down metal screen. We recommend keeping this down when leaving the property and at night.
Did we forget to mention how close we are to the beach? We are located between the estuary and the beach, and it is a block walk to the beach entrance. It is actually across the street but due to other developments, you have to walk down about 100 meters and you are at the access. There is even a water taxi service to Tamarindo from Central America’s largest mangrove estuary three hundred yards away. Kalumina…the perfect place to stay!
